Staff Tryouts Are Underway! « Thread Started on May 30, 2009, 12:05pm »
So, want to become a staff member here? Well, then, you'd better have some RPing experience first! I'm going to be looking for members who listen to my rules, and can therefore enforce them themselves when need be. I'm also looking for people who have experience with coding, because I'm no good at it. xD After we get some more members, I'll be posting the form; make sure you fill the form out to the best of your ability; I won't take 'I wanna be Advanced Mod plz.' I'll just kick you off for a few days, because all that tells me is that you want power. Which leads to the most important rule; DO NOT JOIN THE RPG JUST TO GET A STAFF POSITION. That's plain stupid. >|
The Positions
Global Moderator: This position means that you will be a 'helper' around the board. You help me manage the members and ensure that the rules are followed, along with reviewing character applications. You will have to make sure there is enough content and that it fits with the character's category and our standards of grammar and spelling. Positions available: 1/1
Moderator: This position is a more limited version of the above. You accept characters that meet the criteria, help answer questions and make sure people post over 200 words. Sound the same as the above? Well it pretty much is, but you can't lock, sticky or move threads. Positions available: 3/3
Skin Designer: We need someone who's good with coding/skin designing. You'll be in charge of creating the board's looks/designs/and anything else to make this place look amazing. Please, before you apply, you MUST give me examples of boards you've designed and/or coded. I'm going to be very picky on who gets this position; if you don't get chosen, don't be pissed off at me. xD I'm just trying to pick someone who I feel is best for the job. Positions available: 1/1
Graphics Designer: Same as the Skin Designer, only you'll be making banners, etc. for the board. Anything that has to do with photo-manipulations and the like, you'll be in charge of. Just like the Skin Designer, you need to give me some examples of your manips. As above, I will also be picky with who I choose for this position as well. Positions Available: 2/2
